''Eremophila mackinlayi'', commonly known as desert pride, is a shrub species that occurs in Western Australia. It is a shrub from 0.3 to 2.5 metres high with purple flowers, occurring from July to October in the species native range. The species was formally described in 1864 by Victorian Government Botanist Ferdinand von Mueller in ''Fragmenta phytographiae Australiae''. Two subspecies are currently recognised:〔 *''E.mackinlayi'' F.Muell. subsp.'' mackinlayi'' *''E. mackinlayi'' subsp.
